Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer -W2
Location: Rocky Hill, CT(Onsite)
Working Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team in Rocky Hill, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards, with a strong focus on healthcare analytics. You will leverage your expertise in both Power BI on-premises and Power BI Service to deliver impactful data visualizations that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports (PBIX) and paginated reports (RDLs).
- Create and manage Power BI datasets and data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in Power BI solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
- Work with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to integrate reporting solutions.
- Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Power BI and data analytics.
Required Qualifications:
- Overall 9+ years industry experience along with 5+years Power BI end to end developement experience.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with expertise in Power BI (on-premises and Power BI Service).
- Proficiency in creating Power BI paginated reports and RDLs.
- Strong skills in developing and optimizing Power BI reports (PBIX).
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Background in the healthcare domain, with knowledge of healthcare analytics and data.
- Familiarity with data technologies such as Impala and Hive is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill
